Dale J. Thomforde is a technical writer in the areas of computer system engineering, architecture, and design.  He has over 28 years of experience in the industry as an engineer.  His experience includes ASIC logic design, architectural definition and implementation of high speed and efficient logic designs incorporating advanced function, error detection and recovery, soft error tolerance, testability, and debug capability.  His work has also included designs of optical interconnect devices using FPGAs programmed with a design that was written in VHDL.

Dale is an inventor on several patents, published applications, and published invention disclosures.

Dale holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering degree, magna cum laude, from the University of North Dakota.
